Research Experience

The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Undergraduate Summer Intern (Jul. 2023 - present)

  • Supervisor: Prof. Sibo Wang
  • Using graph neural network to conduct anomaly detection at subgraph level.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Graduation Project, UM-SJTU Joint Institute (Sept. 2023-present)

  • Position: Supervisor: Prof. Yulian He
  • Construction of coordination chemical reaction database: Find the representative structure of ligand molecules and construct the relationship between the representative structure and ligand molecules.
  • Use representative structure to predict the reaction of the complex and design the ligand molecule.

Intern Student, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Aug. 2022-Jul. 2023)

  • Position: Supervisor: Prof. Lu Chen
  • Process and classify common crawl data to obtain training corpus.
  • Build a platform to collect data about conversations and smartphone gestures. Using the obtained data, the model is trained to perform gesture operations based on text input.

Research Assistant, Computational Chemistry Lab, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (Mar. 2022-Sept. 2023)

  • Position: Supervisor: Prof. Liang Wu
  • Physical modeling and molecular dynamics simulation of cholesteric liquid crystals.

Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, UCAS

Summer Intern (Jul. 2022-Aug. 2022)

  • Position: Supervisor: Prof. Wensheng Bian
  • Constructing potential energy curves of diatomic molecules using Mol-pro software package.
  • Research on the downward shift of potential curve intersections, and quantitatively explain the phenomenon of the downward shift of intersections based on the influence of spin-orbit coupling (SOC) on diatomic molecules.

Research Projects

Interface Structure Regulation of Mott-Schottky Catalyst and High-selective Dehydrogenation of Propane

Zhiyuan Scholar Program, Group Member,Awarded the Zhiyuan Scholars Research Program funds of 10,0000 RMB (May 2021 - May 2023)

  • Supervisor: Prof. Xinhao Li
  • Design of double-commutated interfacial Mott-Schottky catalyst supported by bimetallic cobalt (Co) and platinum (Pt) with nitrogen-doped carbon as the carrier (CN) (Co@CN/Pt).
  • Conduct preliminary experiments to prepare catalysts and analyze the results of characterization methods such as XRD.

Molecular Design and Simulation of Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Polymer

Undergraduate PRP, Group Leader (Nov. 2022 - Sept. 2023)

  • Supervisor: Prof. Liang Wu
  • Establish a physical model of cholesteric liquid crystals, conduct molecular dynamics simulations, explore the relationship between molecular model parameters and liquid crystal phase behavior, and study the phase transition process.
